5-Day Tour “Southern Treasures of Azerbaijan”

Day 1: Discovering Baku

Your Azerbaijani adventure begins in the capital, Baku, where the past and future blend in a unique rhythm. After checking into the hotel, we’ll start with a tour of the Old City – Icheri Sheher, with its cobbled streets, the Shirvanshah’s Palace, and the mysterious Maiden Tower. An evening walk along the Seaside Boulevard, with views of the Caspian Sea, will leave unforgettable impressions. We’ll finish the day with dinner at a cozy national restaurant, where you’ll enjoy authentic Azerbaijani dishes.

Day 2: Journey to Lankaran – The Heart of Azerbaijani Tea

Early in the morning, we’ll head south toward the lush landscapes of Lankaran. The road will take a few hours, but the captivating views along the way will provide the first taste of southern Azerbaijan. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the hotel and head to the tea plantations, where you’ll discover the art of growing Azerbaijan’s famous tea. After tasting freshly brewed tea, we’ll stroll through the city, visit the historic lighthouse, ancient fortress, and explore the vibrant local markets.

Day 3: Nature’s Wonders – Lankaran and Astara

After breakfast, we’ll head to Astara, where natural treasures await. Our first stop is the Afurja Waterfall – a mesmerizing place with crystal-clear waters and lush greenery. In Astara, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant to try fresh seafood and signature dishes of the south. On our return to Lankaran, we’ll visit the hot thermal springs, perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating.

Day 4: Return to Baku

After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to the southern landscapes and return to Baku. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy another city tour. We’ll visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, with its striking modern architecture, and explore the culture of fire at the Ateshgah Fire Temple and Burning Mountain Yanardag. These unique places reflect Azerbaijan’s history as the land of fire.

Day 5: Free Time in Baku and Departure

On the last day before departure, you’ll have free time to explore Baku at your leisure. Stroll through the city center, visit local shops for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the views of this city that will now remain in your heart.

This tour is an opportunity to experience Azerbaijan’s natural beauty, cultural treasures, and warm hospitality.
